The London International Guitar Show 2017

29th Oct 2017

Location: UK
Venue: Kempton Park Racecourse

Following the success of the inaugural show in 2016, Northern Guitar Shows will once again be bringing its popular event in the London area.

Since last year, people have been referring to the event as "the London show" and in response to the number of enquiries and bookings now emanating from Europe, the show has been re-branded as The London International Guitar Show.

The event will be held at Kempton Park Racecourse on Sunday 29th October 2017 from 10am to 4.30pm.

NGS Ltd have been promoting guitar shows in the north of England for 20 years where they have had more than 60 events including the annual North West Guitar Show and Merseyside Guitar Show. In 2016 they held their first event in the south which was attended by 130 exhibitors and there were hundreds of visitors through the doors on the day. The show was hailed by the industry press as "a triumph".

This year even more space has been booked at the venue to allow for more exhibitors and wider gangways for the public. More than 150 exhibitors are booked already with more being added every day. Dealers and luthiers from around the UK, all corners of Europe and even as far afield as India are confirmed.

The show is based on the US style of table-top exhibition and is very much a retail event with buying, selling and trading of new, vintage and used guitars, amps, pedals and accessories encouraged with live music in a separate music hall.

This year the live music stage will showcase The Story of Rock Guitar Heroes with their "rockumentary" trip through the decades plus four-piece band Big River with their powerful blues-rock direct from the Thames Delta presented by Fret-King and Vintage Guitars. Patrick Eggle Guitars will feature Chris Walton and the Forgotten Sons while Lazy J Custom Amps present a vintage guitar workshop with renowned guitarist, historian, collector and expert, Phil Harris. Working with Bose Professional systems superb folk duo, The Huers will showcase their great playing, superb songs and amazing harmonies.

Buy, sell and trade all guitar-related products from retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and even private collectors and dealers.

Public admission will be £10 (pay on the door) with accompanied under-12's free.

NGS Ltd sponsors are Vintage Guitars and Fret-King Guitars with John Hornby Skewes Ltd, Guitar & Bass Magazine and the Musicians' Union.
