Dubreq launches the Stylophone Gen X-1

The Stylophone is back with built-in delay, speaker, low pass filter, and a £59.99 price tag.

The iconic British portable synth is back in the form of the new Stylophone Gen X-1.

Championed by artists such as David Bowie and Kraftwerk, the much-loved musical gadget has a brand new model packed full of features.

“The Gen X-1’s playability is excellent with its stylus, keyboard and separate sound strip. It has an LFO (with square and triangle waves), a low pass filter (cutoff/resonance), an envelope (attack/decay), a sub octave -1 & -2 switch, built in delay and a pulse width modulation button,” said John Simpson, director of Dubreq, manufacturer of the British brand.

To complete this neat little package, the Stylophone Gen X-1 has an in-built speaker and is battery operated, resulting in an affordable, portable, analog synthesizer, that can create substantial sounds and melodies.

The Stylophone Gen X-1 has an RRP of £59.99. The first stock is available now direct from Dubreq and at Amazon.

“Initial reviews have been fantastic, pre orders have been really strong from all over the globe and we’re really looking forward to hearing the new music created on it,” said Dubreq.
