Editorial changes at MI Pro

Laura Barnes has been appointed editor of MI Pro, joining the title from sister publication PCR (PC Retail).

Barnes, a long-term musician and previous MI Pro contributor, will take over the position on Monday, June 27th. She replaces current editor, Daniel Gumble, who after more than three years working on the title, is leaving to join Music Week magazine as news editor.

Commenting her new role, Barnes said: “I’m thrilled to be taking over as editor of MI Pro. Having spent nearly five years working on tech retail mag PCR, I look forward to continuing to champion independent retailers and the high street.

“Dan has done a fantastic job of revamping MI Pro over the past few years and I hope to continue the great work he has done for the MI industry.”
