Rimmers Music to open first store in Scotland

Rimmers Music is set to open its 9th retail store at the end of October. The new premises will be the retailer’s first physical store in Scotland.

Rimmers Music Edinburgh will serve as a boutique piano store, and will be holding a grand opening ceremony on Saturday 28th October at 10am.

Staff will be on hand to demonstrate the latest in Yamaha piano and keyboard technology, and those attending can also expect to grab some bargains in store, with opening offers including as much as 30% off many Yamaha pianos and keyboards.

“Our new Edinburgh store can be found in the heart of Scotland’s capital in the North East outskirts of the New Town Area, at number 14 on Elm Row. The cosy boutique store setting houses a fantastic selection of all keyed instruments Yamaha have to offer in a modern looking white interior with wooden floors, similar to the piano showroom areas of both our Bolton and Liverpool stores,” said the firm.

“The large windows at the front allow plenty of natural light in to help you easily try out the range of digital pianos and keyboards we stock from Yamaha, whilst the grand pianos and upright pianos towards the back of the store are bathed in warm and stylish purple lighting.

“Locals will recognise both the address and some of the staff members from their days operating as Key Player or the Edinburgh Organ Studio. As well as carrying on the mantle of Scotland’s premier home for Yamaha Pianos, you can expect the same levels of passion and excellent customer service that all of our Rimmers Music customers have come to expect since 1978.

“Rimmers Music are no stranger to Scotland, as we have been serving customers up and down the highlands for a number of years via our e-commerce website, as well as supplying a range of musical instruments to Scottish schools as a registered supplier to “Scotland Excel” education establishments.”

Amongst the staff member’s expertise Rimmers Music has gained is Yamaha keyboard specialist and top Yamaha UK demonstrator Richard Bower, who has been instrumental in the development of the new Yamaha Genos Digital Workstation, which replaces the world-renowned Yamaha Tyros series.

The new store’s address is a follows:
